Wrath of the Gods

about

Til holts ek gekk
ok til hrás viðar,
gambantein at geta,
gambantein ek gat.

Reiðr er þér Óðinn,
reiðr er þér Ásabragr,
þik skal Freyr fíask,
in firinilla maðr,
en þú fengit hefr
gambanreiði goða.

I went to the woods
and to the sappy tree
to get a magic wand,
a magic wand I got.

Odin is angry at you,
Thor is angry at you,
Freyr shall hate you,
You outrageously wicked man.
And you have received
the spellbinding wrath of the gods.

Two stanzas from Skírnismál, one of the poems of the Poetic Edda.

Freyr spies from afar a beautiful giantess and becomes infatuated. He sends Skírnir to persuade the giantess, Gerðr, to join him. Anticipating refusal, Skírnir comes prepared to use magic in order to coerce Gerðr. She finally breaks down after facing repeated threats in the form of numerous curses.

I modified the spell to be cast on a man.

I have repurposed these strong and effective curses and redirect them from a victim toward a perpetrator.
